Trip Preparation

What medical conditions should I be aware of?

Anyone who has recently undergone major surgery, has a broken limb, or suffers from chronic/joint pain should consult their doctor. High blood pressure can also be a concern at high altitudes.

What identity proofs are mandatory?

A valid Identity proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking and upon arrival. PAN card is NOT considered valid address proof.

How do I acclimatize to high altitudes?

Climatic conditions in high altitudes vary significantly from the plains. It is advisable to take adequate time to get acclimatized. Stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity on day one.

What kind of clothes and luggage should I carry?

We recommend warm clothes and the right kind of shoes. The advisable baggage weight is 60 liters, and it should preferably be a single backpack (under 15kg). Trolley bags are strictly not allowed.

Booking & Payments

What is the payment policy?

A 40% advance payment is required to book. The remaining 60% must be paid 10-15 days prior to the tour date to ensure a smooth experience.

Are alcoholic drinks or mineral water included?

No, any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.

What if hotel availability changes?

Hotels are subject to availability. If a pre-booked hotel is unavailable, travelers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.

Motorcycle & Rentals

Do you provide self-drive rentals?

Yes, we provide self-drive bikes and cars on rent with prior notice. A refundable security deposit is required depending on the variant selected.

What happens if the bike is damaged?

Any damage caused to the bikes, spare parts, or fuel will be charged extra. We recommend checking your bike properly before every day's ride.

What if roads are blocked during the trip?

In case of landslides or unforeseen road blocks, EscapeArc will rearrange the itinerary in real-time. However, any alternative accommodation costs will be borne by the customer.

Safety & Conduct

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes. Inappropriate behavior towards fellow travelers, especially female travelers, is strictly prohibited and can lead to immediate termination of the tour without refund.

What is the role of the Road Captain?

The Road Captain's decision is final. They reserve the right to change the route or extend the trip for the safety and wellness of the group.
